John Siest (Jan Siestrzeńcewicz) is 43 years old and lives in Warsaw, Poland. Photography is not only interest he has. Since childhood, he has had a passion for music, both listening to it and creating it. In his youth, John won several song festivals, both as a soloist and in the United States (in Chicago) as a member of a band. Later, he wanted to record his own album and managed to do so. He wrote the music himself, setting English-language lyrics by his brother Peter and his own, and commissioned a hired musician (Romuald Vorbrodt) to arrange it. Four of Janek's songs (under the artist name "Glitter" and „Kolinder”) spent a combined about 100 weeks on the radio's "Lista z Mocą" (List with Power) Christian music chart. John has performed at family picnics and also performed as a member of a choir-band on the National Stadium stage. John's musical style is pop, and everything around pop.

John also works in photography. He won the "Warsaw We Don't Know" competition under the patronage of the Vice Mayor of Warsaw, and also won 2nd Place, eight honorable mentions and ten "Official Selection" awards in the international photography competition "International Photography Awards."

Through his work, John tries to share the joy it brings him with others.
